Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.49: Enhanced Physics, Classic Eiger Nordwand Circuit, and Six New Cars Added

Gran Turismo 7 has released update 1.49, which marks a significant change beyond the regular monthly additions of new cars and minor technical adjustments. This July update features a completely redesigned physics system, elevating the driving experience offered by Polyphony Digital's acclaimed title.

This newly introduced system promises players a noticeable difference in how suspension and tyre behavior is handled, ensuring a more authentic weight distribution during cornering. Enhancements have also been made to the response, heating, and wear of the tyres, now offering a more realistic experience.

The introduction of this major technical upgrade is complemented by the return of the Eiger Nordwand circuit, located in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Additionally, six new vehicles have been added to the game: BMW M3, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4, RUF RGT 4.2, and Subaru Impreza Rally Car 98.

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.49 is available for free on PlayStation. For those interested in exploring more recent updates and additions, further details and gameplay footage can be found on the game's site.
